Kom Dafsho
A prominent archaeological mound in Kafr El Dawwar Center, most of its remnants date back to the Greek and Roman eras, and it is considered one of the most notable archaeological sites in the area.

- Stone and pottery sarcophagi.
- Pottery vessels dating back to the Greek and Roman eras.
- Tombs and other archaeological mounds such as Kom Eishou, Kom El-Farag, Sidi Ghazi, Kom Al-Taraghya, and Tel Al-Qanayis.
Historical Importance
The site was not limited to the Greek and Roman periods; it was also the scene of one of the most important battles in modern Egyptian history: the Battle of Kafr El Dawwar in 1882, between the Egyptian army led by Ahmed Orabi and the British forces, which ended in a victory for the Egyptian forces.
Museums and Exhibits
- Kafr El Dawwar Museum displays archaeological artifacts, traditional crafts, and photographs documenting the city's history and cultural heritage.
- Some sites have been recently surveyed by the Egypt Exploration Society (EES), such as Kom El-Ghassouli, Abdo Pasha, and Kom El-Mujeir.
