كوبري السكة الحديد بإدفينا

يقع كوبري السكة الحديد بإدفينا بمحافظة البحيرة، بجانب قناطر إدفينا التاريخية على فرع رشيد لنهر النيل، ويعد جزءًا أساسيًا من منظومة الري والسكك الحديدية في مصر. يربط الكوبري بين منطقة البوصيلي ومدينة دسوق، ويخدم حركة القطارات والملاحة النهرية.

التاريخ والنشأة

تم إنشاء الكوبري والقناطر المرافقة له في فترة الأربعينيات والخمسينيات من القرن الماضي، وتحديدًا في عهد الملك فاروق حوالي عام 1950. كان الهدف من إنشائه تعزيز البنية التحتية للنقل البري والمائي وربط مناطق البحيرة بعضها ببعض.

التصميم الهندسي

يتميز الكوبري بكونه جزءًا متحركًا يُفتح للسماح بمرور السفن والمراكب في مجرى نهر النيل، ويُغلق لعبور القطارات. ويُعتبر الكوبري تحفة هندسية تجمع بين القوة والمتانة والوظيفة العملية، ويجسد مهارة المهندسين المصريين في تصميم البنية التحتية للسكك الحديدية والطرق.

التطوير الحديث

في عام 2016 تم تفقد أعمال تطوير مزلقان محطة قطار إدفينا وإنشاء كوبري جديد للسيارات، بهدف تحسين السيولة المرورية وتخفيف الازدحام في المنطقة، مع الحفاظ على الأهمية التاريخية والهندسية للكوبري الأصلي.

Edfina Railway Bridge

The Edfina Railway Bridge is located in Beheira Governorate, next to the historic Edfina Barrage on the Rosetta Branch of the Nile River. It is an essential part of the irrigation and railway system in Egypt. The bridge connects the Al-Bouseily area with Desouk city and serves rail traffic and river navigation.

History and Establishment

The bridge and its accompanying barrages were constructed in the forties and fifties of the last century, specifically during the reign of King Farouk, around 1950. The purpose of its construction was to enhance the land and water transport infrastructure and connect the regions of Beheira to each other.

Engineering Design

The bridge is characterized by being a movable section that opens to allow ships and boats to pass through the Nile River's course, and closes for trains to cross. The bridge is considered an engineering masterpiece that combines strength, durability, and practical function, embodying the skill of Egyptian engineers in designing railway and road infrastructure.

Modern Development

In 2016, the development work for the Edfina railway station crossing and the construction of a new car bridge were inspected, with the aim of improving traffic flow and reducing congestion in the area, while preserving the historical and engineering importance of the original bridge.
