ملاحة الرايزونية

بحيرة مالحة تقع في وادي النطرون، وتُعرف باسم "بحيرة السماء". تتميز بتركيز عالٍ من الأملاح الطبيعية، وتعد جزءاً من البيئة الفريدة للصحراء الغربية.

الموقع

تقع الملاحة في الجزء الشمالي الشرقي من وادي النطرون بمحافظة البحيرة، ضمن منطقة صحراوية جافة.

الخصائص الملحية

تحتوي مياه الملاحة على معدن النطرون الطبيعي، وهو مزيج من كربونات وبيكربونات الصوديوم، بالإضافة إلى كلوريد وكبريتات الصوديوم، مما يجعلها مالحة للغاية.

الأهمية التاريخية

استخدم المصريون القدماء أملاح النطرون في التحنيط، وكانت ترسباتها ذات قيمة تجارية عالية وتم تصديرها للعالم القديم.

الحياة البرية والبيئة

تعد الملاحة جزءاً من بيئة صحراوية محمية، وتستضيف أنواعاً محمية من الحيوانات مثل الغزلان المصرية، إضافةً إلى كونها مكاناً للسياحة العلاجية.

Rhyzoun Salt Flat

A saline lake located in Wadi El Natrun, known as the "Lake of the Sky." It is characterized by a high concentration of natural salts and is part of the unique environment of the Western Desert.

Location

The salt flat is situated in the northeastern part of Wadi El Natrun in Beheira Governorate, within an arid desert region.

Saline Characteristics

The water of the salt flat contains the natural mineral Natron, a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, in addition to sodium chloride and sulfate, which makes it extremely salty.

Historical Importance

Ancient Egyptians used Natron salts in mummification, and its deposits were of high commercial value and were exported to the ancient world.

Wildlife and Environment

The salt flat is part of a protected desert environment and hosts protected species of animals such as Egyptian gazelles, in addition to being a location for therapeutic tourism.
